Country Music Career
Going Back to her Roots:
In late 2007 Jessica broke the news that she would be going back to her roots and would be soon starting the recording of a country music album. Just after the finish of her movie "Major Movie Star" Jessica started it was time to leave the pop world and time to venture into a world she grew up in.
After several months of recording Jessica Released her crossover album "Do you Know" on September 20 2008. Which included her top 20 track "Come on Over".
Jessica also stated in a June interview that she will be sticking to country music for the rest of her life."I'm planning on making country [music] for the rest of my life, and I don't want to go back to that other world," Country music has given her strength and new found confidence after she was scared at one point to get on stage and sing again as Jessica told People Magazine, "I was going through a heartbreak, and I was scattered and shouldn't have been on that stage," she tells the newspaper. "There's no way to convince anybody that you're comfortable onstage if you're not." But after stepping into the studio to record a country song, she declared: "I'm back!"
